Ship Movement
Moving ships in StarBound can be done in three ways. Either click
on an adjacent hex(A), click and drag to give a ship a path to a
destination(B, C), or press the space bar to skip the piece's move.
If you try to move into a hex occupied by a friendly ship you will
lose a move. If you try to move into a hex occupied by a friendly
planet you will reinforce the planet(see reinforce). If you move
into a hex occupied by an enemy ship you will enter combat(see
ship-to-ship combat). If you move into a hex occupied by an
enemy planet you will attempt to conquer the planet(see ship-to-
planet combat). Paths are displayed by a yellow line, paths will
go through enemy ships, and around planets and friendly ships. If
a path cannot be completed, the yellow line will become red and
point directly to the destination(B).
If a ship ends its turn next to a friendly planet the current
shields are repaired ten points until they reach the maximum.
